It’s football, past the first weekend of February, how could you not like it? Sure, the XFL has been up and running for one weekend, but it looks fun and exciting.
The new rules are wack and sometimes tough to follow, but I like how they are test-running a few things that could be implemented into the NFL. Do we want them implemented? Probably not, but who knows?
The games were high energy, and the fans were really into.
Two passes into the season and we got MVP chants, for Cardale f—ing Jones, electric.
Who knows if this thing will stick around, we all remember the disaster that was the AAF. This energy and confidence seems different though. Also, the XFL has something the AAF never did.
One thing this new league needs to look into are higher profile players. Find a way to get some big names on the field so you can put more fans in the crowd.
If Vince can somehow poach the likes of Money Manziel and Timmy T, sales are going to be through the roof. Would it be more fun if the New York Guardians ran onto the field with Johnny Manziel, or Matt McGloin? If anyone can convince these two, its the man behind the making of fake wrestling.
It’ll be interesting to see what unravels with this new league, but I think we should all be excited. How can you not be?! There’s football that will go until April!
So do we like the XFL?
Yes.
