Ryan Tannehill just got P.A.I.D.

The #Titans have agreed to terms with QB Ryan Tannehill on a 4-year deal worth $118M, source says. He gets $91M in total guarantees and $62M in fully guaranteed money. A huge payday after leading Tennessee to the playoffs.

Well, the Titans are officially out of the Tom Brady picture as they get they lock up their guy and their quarterback for the next four years.

Tannehill had a remarkable comeback last year after being dealt to Tennessee from Miami and led the Titans to the playoffs and beat Tom Brady and the Patriots on the road, in the playoffs.

Tannehill and company followed that by traveling to Baltimore and knocking out the #1 seed Baltimore Ravens. They were eventually bounced in the AFC Championship game, by the eventual Super Bowl winners, the Kansas City Chiefs.

But they even had a 10-point lead in that game at one point.

Tannehill won the comeback player of the year award after taking over for the Titans with a 2-4 record. And he led them a final record of 9-7.

Tannehill was nothing short of amazing and proved his quality as a starter for Tennessee. Although his playoff numbers weren’t amazing, he still did what was needed to be done in order to get the wins.

The Titans will now focus on resigning their start and franchise running back, Derrick Henry, as he was the focal point of the turnaround and deep run into the playoffs last year.
