Sooooooooooo this just happened.
Hey, Bill O’Brien, what the hell are you doing?
DeAndre Hopkins is arguably a top-2 receiver in the National Football League. And the Texans just traded him for a running back who has underwhelming numbers since his big year in 2016.
I MEAN COME ON
Hopkins has played 111 games since 2013. For the record, that means he has played every regular season except in one.
Along with his durability, Hopkins is a four time pro bowler and a three time first team all pro.
He has tallied 632 catches, 8602 yards, and 54 touchdowns in his impressive career so far. The 27-year-old is just getting started and the Arizona Cardinals now have an impressive and underrated offense, they can be a sneaky team to try and get that new 7th spot.
The Cardinals offense will now have the likes of: Kyler Murray, Christian Kirk, Larry Fitzgerald, DeAndre Hopkins, and Kenyan Drake. And they will have the Kliff Kingsbury at the helm.
It is an impressive group and the Cardinals can now focus on their protection for their future quarterback and their defense.
