Stefon Diggs and Amari Cooper Deals

Late last night we had a big trade and a huge contract extension reached.

The first news was a trade between the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings.

This is a huge deal for Buffalo. In my mock draft I had them drafting a receiver, someone who could be a deep threat for them, that is no longer required. They now have a receiving core of Stefon Diggs, John Brown, and Cole Beasely.

If they can add a versatile tight end, or develop Knox well, the Bills will have a very scary offense next year.

As for the Vikings, they lose a big threat on offense and I would not be surprised if they target a receiver in the first round of the draft. The Vikings have been busy these past two days have they have released Xavier Rhodes and Linval Joseph, extended Kirk Cousins and now traded Stefon Diggs.

A few minutes after the big trade was announced we had another big move for a receiver. Although this one was not shocking, Cooper is staying in Dallas, for a lot of money.

In the last two off-seasons Dallas has now locked up Dak Prescott (franchise tag), Amari Cooper, and Ezekiel Elliot.

Jerry Jones has a big task of extending Dak long-term, but they have their main pieces on offense, and still have an incredible line surrounding them.

This was the third move for a big name receiver on the opening day of tampering period. Following the Hopkins and Diggs deals.

With the official loss of Byron Jone, Dallas needs to figure out how to boost that secondary, but for now, the offensive weapons will remain the same, absent of losing Randall Cobb to the Texans.
