Secondly, you know that I published a mock draft right before free agency kicked off for the 2020 NFL Season.
Wow, was that a mistake.
After watching the madness unfold from Monday — Wednesday, it quickly hit me to never make a mock draft before the tampering period of an NFL season, and to always wait until after free agency frenzy is over.
A lot of teams traded their first round picks, and after teams made splashes at different positions, it made me realize certain teams will look at other needs for their team.
As teams like the Minnesota Vikings traded away star players — such as Stefon Diggs — I realized their draft just became much different.
And on the opposite side, the Buffalo Bills acquired Diggs, not only surrendering the only 1st round pick they had.
But, if they had another 1st rounder, I would likely not have them take receiver like I originally predicted them to do.
