What does God have against football in the Spring? Sure, the AAF sucked, but the XFL was actually fun and people were really into it. I think it could have lasted more than a year.
John Clayton is 100% correct, the league was fun. I wanted to see how long it could last.
Obviously the league was going to shut down because of COVID-19, but to completely stop operations and have no plans to return, man, this sucks.
The NFL should step up in a big way, purchase the XFL and make it a farm-system for their teams. I don’t know how it would work and it’s probably unrealistic, but I just want football in the Spring.
Can’t a man dream?
