GUESS WHO’S BACK?!

Don’t get me wrong, this obviously is breaking news, but is it shocking? Although we never heard developments of Gronk coming back, until now, this news doesn’t shock me. In fact, when Brady first signed with Tampa I saw trolls tweeting that Gronk would come back and play for the Bucs, and honestly, I believed it.
This news is huge, but the bigger news to me is Belichick. You’re gonna ask why, but here’s why:
Brady determined at the beginning of this season that it was last in New England and reports have him being upset with management — mainly Belichick — for over two years now. If you listened to Howard Stern’s radio interview with Brady, he had nothing but love and admiration for his former coach. But Brady isn’t the guy to go on air and bash anyone.
Now; Gronk retires from football, albeit, there were discussions about him doing it for about three straight offseason’s, he finally does it when there seems to be turmoil brewing in New England. So, he retires and once Brady leaves New England, he wants back in? Two weeks after WINNING the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania.
Something seems fishy to me!
It’s a lot to digest right now, but I think things we don’t know about will start to unravel once Brady and Belichick are out of the league.
Anyway, Gronk has one year left on his contract, so maybe this is officially it for him? Who knows anymore. But the Buccaneers offense is looking NICE. Tom Brady, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Rob Gronkowski, O.J. Howard. WOW. With the draft in two days, I full expect them to focus heavily on protection for Brady, and a running back.
Will Tampa be the first team in NFL History to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium? Will there even be an NFL season? I guess we’ll find out eventually!
