It’s a Woj-Bomb like no other Woj-Bomb! The NBA is coming back!
I repeat, the NBA is coming back! Not only are they returning, they also aren’t just going straight to the playoffs. There is going to be a finale to the regular season with a race for the final playoff spots.
The Eastern Conference race won’t be as fun as the Western Conference, but this is all so exciting. This means there is a chance we get to see playoff Dame after all, or a potential matchup between Zion Williamson and LeBron James in the first round of the playoffs.
Let’s be real, the world is an absolute disaster right now, and I think that some sort of sports are needed to bring unity amongst us, or at least some unity.
Just so we are all clear, here are the standings as we speak. Four teams have already clinched a playoff spot, and the only team officially eliminated before coronavirus was the Golden State Warriors — Thank God.
If we are being honest, I am an honest person, I like where the Eastern Conference sits, unless John Wall comes back to play, then I hope the Wizards make it over the Magic. Now, the Western Conference, I’m torn.
I love the Grizzlies and their young squad. I love Luka and the Mavericks — although they look to have a playoff spot already locked. How could I not want playoff Dame to make an appearance in August? But I also would love to see a Zion vs. LeBron Western Conference First Round Playoff series. I am absolutely STRESSED.
I’m excited for an October NBA Finals that will probably entail James and the Lakers vs. Giannis and the Bucks.
